"I have seen the promised land"...and it is Prince Edward County
Get ready Prince Edward County, we're coming! My family and I, that is, my beautiful and talented wife Sharon, my brilliant and talented son Logan, my quintessential Jack Russel terrier, Buster, and myself, wannabe organic farmer, Woody Glenn, will be pulling up stakes in Toronto and moving into your territory. For some time it has been my and my family's dream to become organic farmers and after thoroughly investigating many areas of Ontario, we have decided by unanimous decision that PEC holds the greatest promise for us. This is in large part due to what we have discovered is a vibrant and caring community of folks who live in the County. We hope that you all will welcome us as caring, valued and interesting new neighbours. We really do have a lot to offer, and if I do say so myself, we are decent folk who really need your community to adopt us. Our plan is to accomplish this move by May 2009, and for this to happen we need your help and more importantly your friendship. While we have looked at many potential properties we could really use your help in trying to identify more, that is, a farm with 20 to 50 acres, hopefully with a barn, and a house that can be moved into (even if it does need some work). Over the next few weeks I will be blogging daily, providing you with information about us. I encourage you to comment and offer any information or advice you feel could help us make this transition.
